Teaching practicums, observed sessions, and hands-on training activities involve inherent physical risk; trainees are responsible for applying professional judgment and honoring all contraindications specific to each client's medical history. Clients with injuries, medical conditions, or pregnancy must be cleared by a physician before participating. Student enrollment data and training logs are stored in cloud infrastructure and are not currently HIPAA-compliant — obtain appropriate consent before recording client health history or sensitive personal information.
